A product of Arkhouse Telegraph, a fairly well known developer of artistic, surrealist game experience... things. I say this somewhat tongue in cheek but I actually appreciate the approach.

Bioysque itself is probably the most game-like of Arkhouse's productions. It's kind of an Ys clone, set in a bio-horror dream world. You wander looping spaces full of guts monsters and weird twisted landmarks and you click things to attack. That's kind of it.

The entirety of the game is exploration, finding things, and taking in the weird world and story Arkhouse has produced. There's bosses that are mostly bullet hell click frenzies, and there's upgrades to be found to make it a real RPG experience. The plot is kind of chilling too.

Really Bioysque is less of a game and more of a scaffold to tell a story, and I appreciate games like that sometimes. This one tells a compelling story with a gripping climax and end. As a story, I loved it.
