One part Minecraft, one part bubble wrap simulator. HexIsle has the trappings of an idle game but none of the idle components. You appear on a massive island full of hex tiles, objects, and monsters. Your goal is to harvest resources from these tiles, fight monsters, and gather objects to level up your tools and abilities to further explore the island.
"You" are your mouse cursor. There's no character to move around the island and foes respond to your cursor's adjacency to them. It lets you zip around looking for resources quickly, which is quite necessary in some stretches of the game where the only thing keeping you from the next tech level on the tree is five more iron ingots, or something.
HexIsle is this for about 15-20 hours. You click hexes to mine them, make gear with the resources, click more valuable hexes, get better resources. Rinse and repeat.
If you want that, it's pretty darn solid though.
